In 2020 TRICOM hosted our first Cheers for Children’s Golf Outing. We were overwhelmed with the response, which included 124 participants and over $16,000 raised for Children’s Wisconsin.
It was such a great event that we’re doing it again: the new date for this year’s event is Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Kettle Hills Golf Course in Richfield, WI. The best part is that all proceeds benefit Children’s Wisconsin.
Now more than ever your participation, donations, pledges are needed. With COVID-19, fundraising efforts that support Children's Wisconsin are being impacted. They’ve switched their hugely popular Brigg’s & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Wisconsin to a virtual event for both 2020 and 2021. Meanwhile, the mission of Children’s Wisconsin remains the same: CARE — Care, Advocacy, Research, Education.
TRICOM has been a strong supporter of Children’s Wisconsin since our first company team participated in the Brigg’s and Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Wisconsin in 1996. Since then, we’ve increased our support to become not only a major sponsor, but have raised over $900,000 in support of the amazing care the hospital provides.
In 2014, we introduced our Cheers for Children’s events as another way to support Children’s Wisconsin, bring the community together, and have some fun! We’re excited to keep the tradition going!
This year’s Cheers for Children’s Golf Outing is Sunday, August 29, 2021
11:30 am: registration
1 pm: shot gun start
Cost: $500 per foursome, which includes:
• Golf for 4
• Cart
• Box lunch
• One drink ticket per person
• Fantastic hole prizes
• Buffet dinner
Not up for golf but still want to join in the fun? Dinner is only $30 per person.
