Since 1996, Tricom Funding has been a strong supporter of The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. By participating in the annual Briggs & Al’s Run and Walk for Children’s Hospital, the company demonstrates its commitment to helping enhance the lives of every member of the community.

Over the years as our staff grew, so did our commitment to this great event. Tricom moved from Water Station sponsor, to Bib sponsor and now this year, Team Sponsor.

We challenge all our staff to participate and also recruit family, friends and business associates to sign up for this great cause. Tricom Funding matches dollar for dollar the first $20,000 in pledges and $20.00 for every registration under the Tricom team.

In our first year of participation in 1996, we had a team of 18 people and a corporate gift of $2,200. We have continued to see our team numbers and pledge raising grow each year, and are proud to share some of our accomplishments:

• A high of 924 team members in 2005
• Our team raised $18,796 in pledges in 2011 and with Tricom’s match, we had a total of $38,796
• Tricom’s average team size is 785
• Over the years we have had 8,599 total team members
• The Tricom team has raised over $578,000 for Children’s Hospital

We’re especially proud of these numbers because Tricom is a small company. Currently we have 45 employees, and at our peak in 2005 we had just shy of 65 employees.
