We’ve always been big proponents of well-run staffing industry conferences. We love the opportunity to learn more about what’s going on in the industry, as well as what’s on the horizon. But most importantly, we look forward to all the face-to-face conversations we have with colleagues and friends. It’s those connections that we cherish and that we missed last year.

Conference organizers did a tremendous job of carrying on in a virtual format last year. But we’re very excited to be back in-person for what we think are some of the best national staffing conferences of the year: ASA Staffing World 2021, SIA Healthcare Summit, and TechServe Alliance Executive Summit.

They’ve got it all: excellent speakers and itineraries, great opportunities for networking, a focus on safety, and fantastic venues.

Plus, there’s still time to register if you haven’t already!

ASA Staffing World 2021
September 28 – 30
Denver, CO

https://americanstaffing.net/sw21/

This year’s conference theme is “Better Together. Stronger Ahead.” They’ve built a strong itinerary to support this theme and have brought in nationally recognized speakers to inspire and promote discourse on topics such as resiliency, corporate social responsibility, innovation and growth, and more. Breakout sessions include topics such as women and leadership, self-awareness, technology, building value, effective leadership and communication, compliance, company culture, and more. Plus, there’s time every day for networking and socializing in order to reconnect with colleagues and friends and meet new ones, as well.

Safety Measures (as found at https://americanstaffing.net/sw21/safety-covid-19/):

This year’s SIA Healthcare Summit has organized topics and content around the theme of “Driving Success in the New Normal.” In the face of the pandemic, the healthcare staffing market has grown tremendously, reaching nearly $20 billion and growing at 8 percent. Will that growth continue? How do you measure success after a year and a half or more of disruption? The SIA Healthcare Summit brings in national experts to share their insights on the state of healthcare staffing and what the future may hold for the industry.

https://www.techservealliance.org/staffing-conferences/

This year, the TechServe Executive Summit is all new and exclusively focuses on the issues and trends dominating the IT & Engineering staffing industry. In addition to inspiring keynotes from nationally recognized speakers and industry leaders, the conference has cultivated content around four specific topics:

  • The Talent Challenge
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Enhancing Enterprise Value
  • Innovation and the Future of the Industry

Safety Measures (as found at https://tsa21.techservealliance.org/2021/1475674):

“With the recent increase in COVID-19 cases attributable to Delta Variant mostly among the unvaccinated population, we have received questions regarding the event and our COVID-19 policy. I want to assure you TechServe is committed first and foremost to the health and well-being of all Executive Summit attendees. We understand the uncertainty surrounding travel and event attendance during these unprecedented times. We want you to know that all event staff are either vaccinated or are required to wear a mask. We are also asking all attendees to be likewise vaccinated or wear a mask throughout the program. We will be continuously monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local officials and the host hotel and will provide updates to policies as appropriate. You can find additional information on Ritz-Carlton policies hereIn the event TechServe has to cancel the event due to COVID-19 or TechServe determines CDC, state, local or hotel restrictions make the event as planned untenable, we will refund attendee registration in full.”

If there’s one thing we’ve learned in the last year and a half, it’s that things can change rather quickly. We recommend monitoring each conference webpage for any further updates regarding safety measures or other event information.
