Account Executive
We are looking for an Account Executive in our Milwaukee, WI office. Not just any Account Executive though, we want the best!

In addition to at least two years of proven success in your previous inside sales position(s) we are looking for someone that demonstrates and takes advantage of the following traits and skill sets:

No travel required – 100% inside sales, with the exception of occasional trade shows throughout the year. Payroll Specialist
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for client base. While providing exceptional customer service to clients, additional responsibilities include maintaining HRIS information within the Lawson Payroll system and managing maintenance and report requests from clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds relationships of trust, respect and partnership with client contacts by providing excellent customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Possesses the ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.
- Enters and calculates payroll data in Lawson software. Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, pay rates, insurance coverage, etc.
- Handles department/division transfers. Evaluates the support for all types of payroll changes, and ensures that proposed changes are appropriately authorized and entered.
- Acts as a technical resource to clients to address and resolve inquiries and problems, and to provide accurate, meaningful, and timely analysis of payroll information
- Understands concepts of wage garnishments, child support payments, pre-tax deductions, taxable fringe benefits and reimbursements to accurately process these transactions.
- Handles all types of problems that might occur in conjunction with paychecks. This may include inappropriate hours and pay rates, changes in deductions, etc.
- Follows payroll procedures and adheres to payroll policies.
- Is a take-charge employee who will work on a variety of projects, and will be expected to plan and perform all of the activities required to complete the projects.
- Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing duties effectively and on time.
- Helps others within the department and in other departments whenever able to.Maintains technical competency and remains current in technology and changes in the industry
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Must have a minimum of 2 years working payroll experience, including taxes and benefits
- Minimum of a high school diploma required.
- American Payroll Association membership desired.
- CPP Certification preferred
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Has a good understanding of computer applications, including payroll software, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Is able to work independently, as well as with others.
- Has good work habits and is interested in increasing his/her knowledge in the area of payroll.
- Must have ability to clearly and effectively communicate relevant information.
- Must be able to plan activities in a way that ensures day-to-day duties are accomplished on time, and also, that special projects are completed within the timeframes established.
- Strong attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner.
- Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.
